ABOUT
Shadow Wood Head Tennis Pro Scott Harrington and tennis members Sharon and Mitch Rosen had a vision: they wanted to create and grow an annual tennis tournament in Bonita Springs. Their goals were simple. They wanted to draw world-class tennis players to southwest Florida, showcase the Shadow Wood community, and provide a competitive opportunity for our local tennis talent. As an added benefit, the tournament would be an opportunity for all tennis enthusiasts in the surrounding communities to come and watch the athletes compete. The inaugural 2017 event drew large crowds, meeting each of the goals as the founders had hoped. This year's event will be bigger and better than ever. Expanded from one day to two, the 2019 Invitational will include men's and women's pro tournaments; a pro-am tournament that will give 8 lucky people an opportunity to play with the pros; expanded Friday evening pro tennis competition; and Friday and Saturday pro clinics for those who want to learn from the best. An additional clinic with Mara Schmidt and other top pros will be offered on Saturday from 8:30 - 10:30 am. All First Horizon Bank clinics are open to anyone. Register today!

Just want to watch? It's FREE! Join us at Shadow Wood at 10:30am on Saturday(Men's semis and women's final), and 1 pm on Saturday (Men's Final). The First Horizon Bank Invitational Trophy Presentation will follow. Don't miss a moment of the action! Lunch and drinks are available. Are you Part of a local tennis team? The Invitational is proud donate a portion of our proceeds to help our community. We have partnered with the Shadow Wood Charitable Foundation. This organization supports 10 area nonprofit groups, including Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties, New Horizons of Southwest Florida, Literacy Council Gulf Coast, and the Guardian ad Litem Foundation.
